From Digital Cameras to MP3 players to Industrial PCs, Flash
Media cards and small form factor disk drives are enabling
companies to add flexibility, reliability and convenience,
long desired in the Digital World. OnSpec's family of controllers
includes patented USB and ATA multi-format flash reader
controllers, USB flash drive controllers, and USB rotating
media controllers. As NAND flash and rotating media increase
in density and shrink in size, digital media content will
be richer and consumers will demand faster transfer rates.
OnSpec's IP in this space, driven by their internally developed
16 bit RISC processor has allowed OnSpec to be the performance
leader in data transfer. OnSpec's compatibility, value
added software and quality as allowed their controllers
to be designed into a wide variety of devices shipped by
the leaders in the consumer electronic and PC market.
